The challenge was finding a supplier that could meet the pricing and timeliness. I was required to get at least 4 quotes but request 8 separate quotes to meet the pricing benchmark. Through this process I managed to bring the program into a sourcing council on time and $40 less in piece price cost at $185. • Self-directed in facilitating my product knowledge about an electronic component I knew little about (PCBA).

Job duties included: Leading Ford Production Capacity Studies which entailed working with the Supply Base and analyzing the data they provided when requesting funding.Daily follow ups with Suppliers and Engineers to ensure proper documentation and data to support their request for funding was accurate and aligned with Ford Requirements. Tracking Funding Issued and using the data provided to determine when the Supplier would be ready to support the Capacity Increase. This included tracking the completion date in comparison to the Ford Launch Date. Job Duties included documenting and managing the supplier base in their requests for funding to support the increase in Production.• I led the Capacity Study on the introduction of the new vehicle introduction of the Mustang Mach E. We had multiple challenges including engineering changes to the propulsion and battery systems as well as extra costs that suppliers asked for advanced funding. This is not a normal procedure at Ford. I had to seek out approval from the Director of Finance to get the approval. By escalating the action in a quick manner, the Supplier was able to provide the tooling equipment cost agreed upon and setup to meet the deadline.
