David Prizio has over 35 years experience in the fields of general contracting, concrete subcontracting, and civil engineering, from which he is now retired. He assumed the duties of president in 1985 and since then has overseen the construction of over $200 million of commercial and industrial projects.For the past several years he has been writing for KITPLANES magazine where he currently holds the position of associate editor. Recent articles have included a long series on firewall forward installations. He has constructed three experimental amateur-built airplanes and is currently working on a fourth. He is active in the EAA and currently serves on the Homebuilt Aircraft Council.He has special expertise in the areas of aircraft engine installation, especially Lycoming and Jabiru engines, aircraft fuel system design and testing, general experimental aircraft construction, and FAA regulations related to experimental aircraft.
