Technical Team lead for the Web Applications group. In charge of the vision for the MarketPrice Composer application.Extensive UML design usage utilizing the Rational Unified Process.Implemented a JNI interface to an ObjectStore. This was a pioneering effort that required knowledge of C++ threading models as well as ObjectStore’s data locking and caching mechanisms.Designed and implemented a client API and server process for rudimentary messaging services. This functioned as the backbone to the MarketPrice application suite. Highlights of the messaging system include load balancing support and master/slave failover support. Participated in the design and implementation of the Intranet Application System. The IAS was an early implementation of a modern application server. A Business Process Designer GUI was used to generate the control and navigation logic using a point-and-click "Visio" style interface.Designed and implemented an Object-to-Relational mapping system. This included a GUI to map existing relational database tables to objects. All business process logic utilized data structures that could be easily serialized into XML for storage or transmission.Designed and Implemented tools to compile HTML files with inline Java into Java classes.
