I advise and advocate for clients in all types of employment-related matters, including transactional and litigated matters. I pride myself in my ability to help clients achieve their goals through the law, and in empowering my clients by synthesizing complex areas of the law and then explaining it to my client in relatable terms so they understand their options. I have negotiated numerous pre-litigation settlements and represented clients before licensing boards, state and federal agencies, as well as state and federal courts. I have extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation, including all aspects of discovery, drafting and arguing motions and appeals, trials (including as first chair), and alternative dispute resolution proceedings such as arbitrations and mediations. I have deep experience in employment law, including anti-discrimination and retaliation, disability and medical leave, wage and hour violations, HIPAA issues, whistleblowers, and contracts, including non-competition and non-solicitation covenants, but also a desire to expand my legal knowledge base.
