Hi, my name is Dave Regg and I recently graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University with a B.S. in Computer Science. Through the program, I worked on a variety of projects that gave me a little flavor of all types of languages, applications, and technologies:- AWS Cloud Services to create a full stack image gallery using tools such as Python, ansible, docker, and the various tools AWS comes with,- scikit-learn to create a machine learning application using Python,- iOS mobile building using Swift and XCode,- and full-stack web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with PHP and SQLitePrior to attending Auburn University, I worked for five years building my own full-stack applications with JavaScript technologies. I used a variety of frameworks and libraries such as React, Redux, Mongo, Mongoose, Express, Node, Gatsby, and Vue. My project code lives in my personal Github page, while many of my projects are running live and accessible through my portfolio website (http://www.daveregg.com).Currently, I work as a full time Associate Software Engineer for Qurate Retail Group. My responsibilities are focused on the frontend side of the web application using AEM, HTML (HTL), CSS, JavaScript, and Java. As a scrum, we work through our projects as a team through daily stand ups and team chats. The daily workload includes investigating and problem solving bugs and defects, while weekly tasks include performance and visual upgrades.I love working closely and collaboratively with my team members. I have a passion for learning new technologies, stacks, and languages, and I look forward to the next day where I work a new piece of an application. I encourage hands on experience where things break, and can be pieced back together.
