As a Chief Information Officer, I bring law and order to the Wild West of technology, managing entire IT ecosystems, sourcing and implementing applications, and building a secure infrastructure with a focus on educational institutions, as well as healthcare and human resources. By customizing a vendor’s off-the-shelf SaaS product, my client was able to manage compensation and incentive programs in multiple currencies. Another project entailed implementing an integrated application for 26K users that reduced global email and specialized messaging delivery from 24 hours to 4 minutes, and enhanced mail list management across MS Outlook, MS Exchange & Active Directory, within the project’s $100K budget. Additionally, I implemented a video interview package that improved the candidate/interview experience, and that saved $800 per hire while complying with global privacy regulations.I was able to save $500 for each of a client’s Structured Query Reports (SQR) by automating inquiries previously accomplished on a manual, as-needed basis. While earning my Ed.D, I worked with Federal Communications Commission’s Office of Inter-Governmental Affairs on a project to improve communications among school district technology directors and CIOs.My core competencies include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems, ITIL best practices, voice/data, network and systems design and architecture.
