After a couple of decades working in LA on films, TV shows, commercials and rock videos, I moved up to the San Francisco Bay Area and started Crushpix Video Production Company. It's exciting, creative, endlessly interesting and challenging every day. I've finally found my dream job.We produce creative B2C and B2B marketing videos, company videos for websites, corporate culture recruiting videos, product videos, training films and demonstrations, video testimonials and interviews, and live event coverage. My partner Rob Ramirez and I tackle the majority of the work on smaller projects, but as we continue to grow, we enlist the help of some of the Bay Area's best talent for shooting and editing to let us expand while remaining lean and agile, which keeps our costs competitive.We take great pride in our ability to transform what could be dull material into an enjoyable and engaging experience that educates and delights our audiences.Crushpix offers full video production services from developing concepts, defining the message, identifying the takeaway, and understanding the call to action that will motivate conversions to every aspect of pre-production, production, and editorial services. In my 20's, I was a ghost writer on a couple of movies that were produced but have not sold anything since then and spent the last several years on film and video production. Am now back to writing projects that I hope to develop using AI tools.

We are an outside vendor that produces sales videos and marketing videos for the Clorox Company. Clorox has its own robust Creative Services Department, but we are sometimes called in to help with overflow and some to the projects that a more boutique operation like our can handle. In addition to corporate video production, we were also asked to shoot a commercial for their bleach product that ran during "Mad Men." We also shoot a number of videos that run as point of purchase displays at a warehouse store chain. We have enjoyed working closely with Clorox's Creative Services Department for several years.

Writer, production person, prop master, set dresser. Working with some of the top talent in the film and television industry, I've been able to not only hone the skills required for my job, but also watch, learn, and discuss tips and techniques from the craftsmen of the other departments as well. Now, as not only a producer but often times, a cameraman, sound man, lighting designer, and editor, all rolled into one, each time I return to a television or film set, I am able to learn more from the experts about the new skills my job requires.
