As far back as I can remember -- back when I was just a little kid, and every day since then -- I've always loved two things: helping people and discovering how things work. Numbers, cars, computers, languages, planets, games, economies, and even the human brain we each carry around in our head. Each of these complex systems has always fascinated me and always will. It's no surprise I ended up in a position to share my love of learning and discovery with those around me. On my strange journey though this ever-inspiring world of ours, I've walked with eyes open, always learning. I've been lucky enough to learn from some of the kindest and brightest folks around, and I've even become a mentor to some wonderful individuals. In my journey to see "all the interesting things" I've built computers and networks, taken apart a car, learned martial arts, raced my motorcycle at the track, and started businesses ventures of my own. I've been to space camp, sat through UN meetings, volunteered at soup kitchens, sang solo in front of hundreds of people... and rumor has it I once made Lady Gaga laugh. All by simply walking through life with an open mind, one step ahead of my comfort zone at all times, ready to learn. I've found my own personal success in life, but only after failing a thousand times and learning a thousand lessons. As a discussion leader for tax accountants, I apply my natural passion for learning and discovery to help people realize their own dreams of success. Every student brings with them unique and fascinating stories, dreams, history -- and therefore, a unique perspective. By understanding these things and incorporating them into my teaching, we've achieved great things together. Thank you for listening to a bit of my story. I'd be honored to be a part of yours.
