Mohawk Valley Heritage magazine celebrated the best of the historic Mohawk Valley region's past, present and future through interesting articles interwoven with exquisite photography and art. It's predecessor, Mohawk Valley Quality of Life, was conceived by Steve Lisi with a similar mission and was transformed into MVH by Dave Scranton at the request of the Mohawk Valley Heritage Corridor Commission. Though widely acclaimed, MVH fell victim to short-sighted publishers that were incapable of positioning a pulp magazine in the digital age. Nonetheless, it is know to have spawned at least two local TV shows of the same mission and is still remembered by many as one of the best print pieces ever created in upstate New York.
