CurrentOversees all fundraising and marketing/communication activities for a $8+ million national nonprofit with a mission to provide youth and adults with disabilities adaptive sports opportunities. Fundraising responsibilities include all annual campaigns, sponsor events, corporate sponsorships, foundation and government grants, planned giving, major gifts and individual donations. Manages relationships with more than 70 corporate and foundation sponsors, including Citi, Nike, The Hartford, Gatorade, ESPN, Dicks Sporting Goods, Lockheed Martin, AIG and Salesforce. Increased fundraising revenues 25%. Written more than ten federal grants that were each awarded, leading to government funding of $6 million. Led development and launch of award-winning organizational brand, including marks, sub brands and visual identification. Redesigned 17-page organizational website with 2,500 unique monthly visitors to include more than 1,000 pages of adaptive sports content with 25,000 unique monthly visitors. Produced copy and edited organizational newsletters, reports, appeal letters and Challenge Magazine with a circulation of 27,000 readers. Launched and managed Move United’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts from 2010-2017. Manage communications and media relations activities leading to coverage by CNN, CBS, ABC, Fox, NFL, Wall Street Journal, Associated Press and other media outlets. Completed Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Certificate in Fund Raising Management.
