Reporting to the State Retail Manager, I sit within the Outlet Operations Channel, responsible for growing key metrics of Retail Sales, Outlet Distribution, Brand Optimisation and Customer Led Culture across 145 customers based from Inner-City Brisbane to Regional QLD Territory. • Grew viable base by 10% in FY21.• Successfully drove business increase of 8% revenue, through development of strong and productive business relationships with Retailers, maturing Retailer product knowledge and identifying and onboarding new sustainable sites.• Drove retail and customer Net Promoter Scores (NPS) , consistently well above company KPI’s, supporting customer resource and subject matter expertise, resolving logistic supply chain issues and improving customer profitability.• Delivered consistent revenue growth as a high performing Territory, achieving FY23 Territory growth of 1.9%.• Product growth - Achieved syndicate year on year growth from 3.9% FY13 to 9.35% FY24 (percentage of total turnover). • Improved average basket spend across the Territory utilising all levers including extra sales skills improvement, improving product knowledge and increasing confidence to make extra sales offers leading to an increase.• Maintained retail standards via site surveys to support Omni Channel Program, attaining consistent 98.7% of Territory in ‘Green’ alignment to compliance targets.• Developed and delivered face to face and virtual workshops to cohorts of up to 50, hosting skill development retail forums to drive sales growth, building retailer relationships and maximising skills, compliance and retail standards of the network.

Rebranded to Australia Lottery and Newsagent Association in 2013, the Queensland Newsagents Federation is/ was a member based ‘Union’ for Newsagents and Lottery outlets, delivering advocacy, member services and advisory.Reporting to the CEO, I provided support and advice to a 500+ membership base on a range of issues including supplier relationships, industrial relations, general business performance and operations, acquiring new members, and retaining existing members. • Played a key role in turning around a business employing a team of five and readied for closure, to a sustainable and thriving organisation of over 50 team members by improving the member offer, strategically engaging retailers and value-adding to their business’.• Liaised with industry suppliers to broker better deals for members, coordinated and conducted a range of industry events, including quarterly branch meetings and roadshows and developed comprehensive training delivered to new and potential members.• Prepared reports and business documents including membership reports, Board minutes, evaluation reports, progress reports, and strategic planning.• Analysed QNF’s third party sales department, identifying need to cease contract and bring in-house with rapid improvement.• Developed and implemented Motorpass which became a new revenue stream for newsagent members.• Coordinated the annual Queensland Newsagents’ Awards and) weekly newsletters.
