Full responsibility for the implementation project lifecycle from contract signature through to the completed delivery and customer sign-off for their new Wide Area Network infrastructure.Key responsibilities include:• Procurement and timely delivery of WAN circuits from a variety of National & International carriers.• Arranging supply, testing, configuration and delivery of WAN hardware (including Cisco routers, Netscreen Firewalls, etc).• Coordinating Vanco and third party resources to install WAN infrastructure onto the customer’s LAN environment.• Management of cross-functional teams including Technical Consultants, Account Managers, Implementation Engineers and third party suppliers.• Communicating with the customer and reporting on the project progress.• Maintaining project documentation.• Being the customer’s first point of contact for any issues during the WAN roll out project.• Pre-sales presentations to prospective customers.Key achievements:• The timely completion of several UK- and Worldwide WANs ranging from 15 to 1000+ sites (project budgets ranging from £100k to £3m).• The successful roll out of a 203 site network in France within a 6 week period in order to meet a customer’s new software implementation deadline. £1m first year value.• The successful completion of a pilot WAN covering remote locations in South America, West Africa, Middle East and Asia leading to a £multi-million contract win.
