I create analytical models and dashboards in Power BI and Excel to show service history by machine, customer and territory. The models show details down to the part level which show the frequency of breakdowns and can also help to identify the root causes. I also develop parts analytics summaries to show the parts most often used which can indicate consistent problems. These levels of detail give the service technicians and sales reps a detailed view of each customer and machine.I show these analytics through Power BI dashboards for a more general overview as well as through complex spreadsheet summaries for a very specific view at various levels of detail.

I created and developed very sophisticated spreadsheet tools to be used for sales and marketing analytics as well as major projects. Through extensive Microsoft Excel expertise, I showed any desired measures and trends over any time period. The tools that I developed required only a few simple data inputs from the end users and the data sets were easily expanded on a monthly basis as each time period closed. I accomplished this through complex lookups, rankings, complex array formulas, all with and without multiple criteria and conditions. The end result was a detailed and easy to read format that allowed the user to change views by global region, country, customer, product line or any other parameter needed.

I developed complex financial and sales models as well as dashboards to streamline the analysis of large amounts of data and compress long analytical processes into just a few minutes. I combined Access query functions as well as complicated Excel lookup functions, nested if statements, weighted average formulas, pivot tables, complex conditional formatting as well as other equations, macros, references and numerous other formulas to produce detailed summaries based on varying perspectives. I combined this with a high level of creativity to produce virtually any desired result.These models can be used by multiple analysts, requiring only minimal training and data inputs. They can be used for various years, months or virtually any time period. My models allowed for customized flexibility and simply use data that is already in a standard reporting system, requiring no changes to current data warehouse structures and processes.

I developed analytical tools for use in both the field sales and internal analyst organizations. Data originated from multiple sources such as SAP Business Objects, Rainmaker, large text files and other large Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. I created detailed summaries from large data sets and multiple advanced query functions in Microsoft Access to assist others in making critical financial and pricing decisions. Through creative manipulation of complex Excel lookup functions, formulas, macros and equations, I produced summaries and reports that brought flexibility to a rigid internal reporting structure.

I performed in-depth cost and pricing analysis for manufactured plastic films. I did extensive spreadsheet creation and analysis using multiple lookups, references and complex formulas to show costs, margins and opportunities to grow new and existing sales volumes. The databases that I created in Access could extend past millions of rows of data and were brought into Excel to show item level cost, pricing and margin results. I also created brief data summaries to present to vice presidents, directors and, when necessary, executive management. Through data analysis and working closely with plant managers, sales and marketing directors, I served a critical function with SKU rationalization and cost reduction initiatives.I also used Cognos and JDE systems to enhance my database resources. My diverse pricing experience spans over ten years and includes both manufacturing and retail expertise as well as a solid understanding of the complexities of distribution networks.
