About Dave Evans Cfp Crps Ricp

Dave has been involved in all facets of insurance and the insurance distribution footprint for four decades. He currently heads up Business Development at Aartrijk and its research arm Channel Harvest. As SVP of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America Inc., he established and managed the member 401(k) MEP and was CEO of Big "I" Advisory Resources. He was also publisher of Independent Agent magazine and oversaw their consumer brand, Trusted Choice. He has been quoted and featured in broadcast and print media outlets including CNN, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, Plan Sponsor Magazine and Kiplinger’s Retirement Report.He has been a guest lecturer at the Washington & Lee University School of Law on the subject of employee benefits. Dave has published over 200 articles on insurance, financial services and employee benefits. He is co-author of The Practical Agency Planner and testified before a congressional committee overseeing 401(k) plan legislation following Enron’s collapse.Dave has a B.A. in Economics from Grove City College, and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He holds 9 professional designations including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA), and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP).
