At the Digital Factory, I was a member of the Agile Community of Practice (CoP) where my primary focus was to catalyze and champion change for Scotiabank. Our collective goal was to transition a 150-year-old bank into a digital world with a mindset focusing on improving our services to our customers using digital technology. I achieved this by developing onboarding and training workshops and delivering talks for the broader organization.My primary day-to-day responsibility was to play the role of the team coach for two product development teams: one team was responsible for developing a digital consent platform while experimenting and validating a microservice architecture on a cloud delivery platform. The other team was focussed on modernizing the mobile banking experience.

I joined LoyaltyOne as a Scrum Master when they just started their agile transformation. My main objective was to coach my teams to a cadence of more frequent delivery of software while improving overall code quality.I coached and mentored teams on multiple strategic programs, including a platform modernization initiative from mainframe-based systems to a Java-based stack. I helped teams learn how to collaborate and learn from each other using Mob-programming to solve complex tasks. I helped long-running, multi-year programs get into a habit of a more steady cadence of releases while minimizing risk and potential negative impact.
