As President of Chubbies for the year following our acquisition by Solo Brands, I focused on:- rebuilding a new leadership team to take the brand forward into its next decade- evolving the brand vision and the target customer we would be acquiring in that next decade- aggressively expanding sales channels to take advantage of our strengths in supply chain (both Chubbies and Solo Brands)- collaborating with my marketing and product leaders to build new strategies for our growing scale and complexity- recruiting and supporting a diverse and inclusive team, with a focus on promoting the best talent possible in a virtual-first work environmentWhat is Chubbies?In a world inundated with emails, fake news, status updates, smartphones & connected watches, Chubbies exists to bring its community back to the moment and deliver that Friday at 5pm feeling every day of the week. In addition to my core finance responsibilities and accounting oversight, I was also responsible for fulfillment & distribution, internal operations (business systems and process consulting), legal, and risk.I co-led the M&A process for Chubbies; including target identification; building and delivering pitches; evaluating offers for the Board; and managing diligence, signing, and closing all in 45 days from LOI signing.I led strategic and financial planning in support of our drive for profitable and sustainable growth, such as creating and then operationalizing seasonal LTV-to-CAC targets, establishing ideal order economics by channel, balancing shipping timelines with ROI on conversion rates, and expanding sales channels.Additionally, I led operational changes to set our business up for scale, including the procurement and hands-on implementation of NetSuite ERP, significant custom development on top of and around NetSuite, and a variety of fulfillment and logistics initiatives.

-Directed outside development firm in building v1 of the returns and exchanges application as Chubbies’ product lead-Advised on early commercialization, value prop, GTM, and product roadmap-Led formation; assisted in early fundraising, headcount planning, and other administrative needs

As an Advisory Senior Associate in the Financial Due Diligence group in San Francisco, I worked with clients on both financial and strategic acquisitions to evaluate their targets. I took my knowledge of accounting and business processes and applied it with a consulting lens on cash flows and operations.I was previously in the Software & Internet Assurance practice in San Jose and before that in the Private Company Services (PCS) Assurance practice in Southern California. PCS required skills to be developed in a broad range of businesses and industries. As I moved onto larger IPO and Public clients I developed concentrated knowledge and expertise in accounting, business processes, financial analysis, and auditing for retail and software/internet companies.I was recognized with an award for coaching younger associates, I mentored teams of high schoolers at USC's Summer Leadership Program, and I served as a Recruiting Champion for campus recruiting.

Before heading to PwC I was the Inventory Operations Manager at the LA Tennis Open (formerly the Mercedes Benz Cup, now the Farmer's Classic) professional men's tennis tournament.This provided me early opportunities in managing teams, vendors, and clients. I was responsible for directing a four-person inventory ops team, staffing two dozen servers and security personnel, and working with multiple tournament sponsors and vendors.
