Engaged with client to support Cerner and Cloverleaf for Epic deployment and go-live. Client is in multi-year project transitioning from Cerner to Epic. Duties include support and troubleshooting of legacy Cerner interfaces as well as new ADT, Orders, and Results interfaces between Cerner and Epic. Implementation of new interfaces via Cloverleaf to down-line systems for Laboratory and Radiology departments.

-Develop foreign system interfaces as a solutions implementation contractor to Cerner Corporation.-Build and implement interfaces for conversion of hospitals from legacy systems to Cerner Millennium, and Cerner Practice Manager, for acute and ambulatory environments.-Work directly with client hospital project leadership teams to develop customized solutions that met their individual needs, on time.3-Lead meetings and coordinate efforts between client, Cerner associates, and foreign system vendor representatives.-Serve as an integration architect to client hospital in-house integration teams.-Implementation of new hl7 interfaces between Cerner and down-line systems, including IBM Initiate(EMPI), SCC Soft Lab (Orders/Results), Teletracking(Patient Tracking), Optum CAC(Results, Billing, Coding, Provider Updates), HealthQuest(ADT), NextGen(Billing), Telexy QPath(Ultrasound Images), McKesson Paragon(Lab).

-Responsible for managing strategic decision, development, and oversight of interfaces, device integration, tele-ICU, and Cerner core components for 18 hospitals across the state.-Managed and advised migration of Cloverleaf to new data center, opening of new hospital, various ARRA initiatives, implementation of new Cerner functionality, and new business development.-Supervises a staff of 15 analysts and team leads.-Manages the build and maintenance of interfaces for 100+ systems including EHRs(Cerner, Epic, McKesson, SureScripts) and various clinical and financial ancillary systems accounting for over 15 million hl7 and other transactions per day.-Collaborated with HIE and state government on various strategic projects.-Led on-site support of clinical application implementations, enhancements, and code upgrades throughout IUH facilities.-Assists organization leadership to develop strategic plan for implementation of new IT functionality.-Manages the migration of various disparate integration engines and applications to system-wide solutions.-Coaches team members on career, leadership, and skills development.-Serves in rotation of IS clinical duty officer, responsible for escalating and providing updates regarding major system incidents to executive leadership team.
