CurrentCurrent responsibility for management of new and existing mining and civil earthmoving business. Including equipment hire fleet, mining services contracts, civil bulk earthmoving projects. We have a passion to grow the Mackellar Group by delivering on safety and Service in a diverse range of commodities and regions.With over 55 years of local knowledge MacKellar is an earthmoving company with many local and international customer relationships including tier 1 mining companies and tier 1 infrastructure providers. Our company provides a flexible approach to mining and civil earthmoving projects, by operating as a sub-contractor or self delivering complete service projects whilst providing contract structures to suit our clients varying from dry hire, wet hire or complete contract delivery. Our earthmoving equipment fleet consists of 350 mining machines in Australia - including Komatsu 930E-4 and Cat 794 dump trucks, Cat 793 ,789, 785 and 777 dump trucks down to Cat 740 artic trucks, Cat D11T and D10T dozers, plus a large fleet of Cat 773 and 777 Water Trucks and Komatsu HD785-7 water trucks and other ancillary mining equipment such as Cat 24M, 18M,16H and 16M graders. Large mining excavators include Liebherr 9800, 996B, 9400 , Cat 6040. Our company employs over 500 persons in AU, including Project managers / SSE's, OCE's, engineers, diesel mechanics to equipment operators. Our company has been actively involved in the mining, civil and infrastructure industry for over 54 years and testament to our performance and focus on safety, some of our relationships have allowed us to continue at the same sites for over 32 years through changing asset ownership.
