I recruit students, primarily current high school students from all over the world to attend the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona through representing Eller at events on and off campus, conducting individual visits and performing outreach. In my role with Alumni Relations for Undergraduate Programs, I engage Eller alumni by facilitating their involvement with current Eller students in events such as Professional Admissions interviews, case competition judging and alumni mixers.

I manage efforts to recuit undergraduates to attend the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. I advise the Eller College Ambassadors, a group of 25 students who help recruit future students. UA Up Close and Arizona ROAD Trip are two of the big university programs I am involved in by coordinating Eller's participation. The High School Business Analytics Challenge and Eller Preview Evening are two of the biggest events I oversee that are Eller specific. As an academic advisor I worked with Eller honors students for six years. I created the processes for the McCord Scholarship and Direct Admission. During my tenure a record number of Eller students graduated with honors. I became the only UA advisor to advise the entire undergraduate honors population of a college. I now advise a smaller population of non-honors Pre-Business students, which allows me to devote more time to recruitment.The topics I advise students on include class selection, campus involvement, Eller Professional Admission, internship and job acquisition, networking, international experience and graduate school admission. I am very proud of my students who have been to every continent (except Antarctica), work for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, have started their own companies, have been admitted to top graduate programs, interacted with billionaires, Academy Award nominated actors, word class athletes, royalty, a Beatle, and a resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I heard appeals of students living in the residence halls who were found responsible of violating one or more residence hall policies and received sanctions. The cases I heard were primarily of students evicted from the residence halls. Annually I trained hearing officers on decision making, training their staffs, and FERPA. I helped the Dean of Students Office and campus police with Cleary Act reporting.Part of my time with Residence Life included the management of an individual residence hall. I opened La Aldea, which provides on-campus, furnished apartments to graduate students. Prior to La Aldea, I was the hall director for an apartment complex off of main campus for undergraduate students.

I used my extensive knowledge of engineering (three weeks of high school physics) to hire students near graduation from undergraduate and graduate programs in electrical and computer engineering. I went to top engineering programs across the country to attend career fairs and conduct on-campus interviews. In conjunction with management, determined which of six offices to place new engineers.
