Worked in Autodesk 3DS Max to create models and renderings of electronics engineering projects that would be physically impossible to photograph.

Generated integrated communications campaign concepts and executions for print and electronic media. Planned trade show event themes and designed supporting booth graphics that engaged attendees and increased lead acquisition. Partnered with company subject matter experts to create technical illustrations that helped communicate complex product concepts. EMA was forming an in house marketing department and I joined the team to handle graphic design and art direction. I was responsible for maintaining corporate visual standards and taking care of all graphic needs for both print and electronic media. From print and banner ads to trade show graphics, collateral, and even a couple parking lot signs, I handled all aspects of the company's visual representation. Flash animated banner ads were popular at the time and an integrated print and digital ad campaign brought me my first marketing performance award. Worked with local printers to handle all aspects of printed material production from price negotiation and artwork preparation, to proofing, press check, and delivery.

A brief career detour to build custom offshore powerboats. I had always been fascinated by high performance boats, so when the opportunity came up to to build them, I headed to Ohio to give it a try. Growing up working with my hands allowed me to quickly start contributing in both the lamination and rigging departments. Designed and fabricated custom composite parts and worked with 3rd party fabricators to complete projects. Planned and executed the conversion of two closed canopy race boats into open cockpit pleasure boats.

A freelance position to support the Martino Flynn creative department during the summer months. Worked on ad campaign concepts for Leki along with design and layout for the Finger Lakes Racetrack newsletter.

My first agency job and a great opportunity to learn from the some of the most talented creatives in the Rochester area. I started as an intern helping out in both the creative and mechanical departments. When I was hired on full time, I continued helping whichever department needed assistance and got to assist and provide creative services for multiple different accounts. Under the tutelage of senior creatives, I provided art direction, graphic design, and pre-press services for clients including Kodak Professional, Bausch & Lomb, DuPont Lycra, and DuPont Agricultural. The Saatchi team also helped guide me through my first experiences planning and directing photo shoots.
