Dave is Chairman of DHW Holdings, which encompasses a network of automotive dealerships, property, holding, and funding companies, and various businesses and initiatives, primarily across Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia.He began his career in the automotive industry at age 16 in 1975 and became a first-generation automotive dealer at age 22. He is now Chairman of Preston Automotive Group (PAG), which currently employs over 850 and sells nearly 14,000 retail units a year. Most recently, Preston Powersports, SoundFX, Midway Tire & Auto, and Auto Express joined the PAG lineup. PAG features 20 automotive & lifestyle brands at 28 locations, including 5 auto body shops and a Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center. PAG is now among the top 100 dealer groups in the U.S.For his devotion to Ford, Dave was inducted into the Ford Volume Dealers Hall of Fame (2019), bestowed the inaugural Ford Treat Customers Like Family Award (2022), the Ford Salute to Dealers Award (2003), served as Vice Chairman and is now serving as Chairman for National Ford Dealer Council. He has been on the Ford Credit Advisory Board since 2008, Ford Marketing Dealer Advisory Board since 2019, and was previously on the Hyundai Dealer Council, the Better Business Bureau Board of Directors, the Ford Dealers Advertising Fund board, the Ford Washington Dealer Advertising Fund, National Ford Dealer Council, and the Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission for Maryland District 16. Dave is also Chairman of Triton Automotive Group.Outside the automotive industry, Dave owns a series of property, holding, and funding companies across Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia, culminating in one of the largest commercial real estate portfolios in the region. He is also Founder of iFrog Marketing Solutions, an advertising/marketing agency specializing in automotive but growing into other verticals — and SafeHouse/Bay Country Security, specializing in security solutions for commercial, residential, & agricultural locations. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of PSB Holding Corp. and has served as a Director with Provident State Bank since 1989. Dave contributed to Dave Anderson's books Unstoppable and Intentional Mindset.In the community, Dave's fondest achievement is the Wilson Family Community Foundation, which he launched in 2019 with his wife, Peggy Wilson, and has donated more than $7M. His charitable and philanthropic work has raised funds for organizations such as March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society, and numerous schools, sports teams, and civic initiatives.
