In 2024, I embarked on a new chapter in my career, joining Google Cloud as the Worldwide Leader for ISV Scale Go-to-Market. My focus is on discovering and nurturing smaller ISVs globally, showcasing the transformative power of choosing Google Cloud as their cloud partner to accelerate their business and rapidly deliver value to their existing and future customers.During my time since joining AWS's Migration division in 2015, I've witnessed the evolution of the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) from its early days as a six-page document. My journey at AWS began in 2013, delving into the intricacies of red state instances, reservation models like light/medium/heavy RI, and the nuances of EC2 Classic. I first made my mark as a dedicated seller at the Herndon office, managing accounts across the breadth of the East Coast, from Pennsylvania to Florida. Progressing from there, I became the pioneering Migration Business Development specialist for the original MAP team, with a global remit. In 2017, I embarked on a new venture with Cloudability, a forerunner in Cloud Financial Operations, embracing the challenges and satisfaction that came with it. Following Cloudability's acquisition by Apptio, my path led me back to AWS, where I contributed to the integration and growth of TSO Logic, now known as Migration Evaluator. In this capacity, I spearheaded the expansion of the Solution Architecture team into EMEA and APAC, enhancing our reach through partners trained in delivering assessments with Migration Evaluator. Despite this success, I found my passion lay in sales, prompting a return to a Migration Advisor position in 2020 for the US-Southeast region. With a keen eye on modernization trends that favor ISV solutions, I transitioned to the US-ISV team, working in tandem with the Workload Migration Program (WMP) and MAP. My unique strengths lie in devising innovative solutions with our resources, teams, and programs—both within and beyond AWS—to help our customers not just meet but surpass their migration and modernization goals, while also mentoring AWS colleagues by sharing the insights I've gained.
