Sibelco ANZ contributed $450M revenue per year to the multinational Sibelco Group with two thirds of product exported throughout the world. Sibelco ANZ operates a network of more than 50 sales offices, mines, factories, distribution centres, warehouses and service centres with 1300 employees. I was the key contact with Unimin USA parent 2002 to 2011 (US GAAP) and then to Belgium parent 2011 to 2018 (IFRS). Growth in ANZ from AUD$85M in 2002 to AUD$450M in 2013 via acquisitions. 2IC to the CFO ANZ. In ANZ the business operates a network of over 50 sales offices, mines, factories and distribution warehouses to supply silica products, magnesia, zircon, rutile, ilmenite, feldspar, lime, limestone, dolomite, magnetite, talc, bentonite, barytes and clays and specialty minerals. Developed the accountants within Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Providing leadership, strategy, direction and vision across business functions at all levels to create a financial, managerial, reporting, FP&A & strategy ecosystem. Management responsibilities include accounting and controls, financial planning and analysis, product costing, cost control, ERP, BI, Project accounting, system design and management, acquisition integration, financial modelling, analysis, stock control and manufacturing management. Selected, designed and implemented a fully automated Business Intelligence System and BI team. Reporting and analysis included daily, weekly and monthly reporting utilising OLAP cubing and Microsoft BI and delivered via web reporting. All reports reporting the previous day’s transactions including sales and margin reporting, key business performance drivers and KPIs, manufacturing reporting, budgeting and product costing. Automated project reporting of actual + commitment versus budget.Seven acquisition integrations including implementing ERP, BI, KPI's, financial & non-financial reporting & processes.
