I’m currently studying Computer Systems Technology at BCIT as part of my plan to switch careers to Technology. I've always loved technology, innovation, computers and everything related to it, so after a few years working in the engineering field, I decided to take a step further and start a new degree, this time in Canada. Right now I'm on my way to become a Software Developer, I've learned languages as Python, Java, C, JavaScript, SQL, and currently learning C++ and Scala.I am a very ecletic person, as my hobbies include sports (both practicing and watching professionals), reading, finance, playing video games and traveling. My major dreams are building a family with my wife Amanda and visiting at least 100 countries during my lifetime. Throughout my journey at UFES as a Mechanical Engineering student, I had the opportunity to develop teamwork and leadership skills, first at the Events Coordination Department at the Engineering Athletic Association (AAACT-UFES) and further as President at Lidera - League of Entrepreneurship and Startups at UFES, where I leaded the team on the development of a Hackathon that gathered together more than 44 external participants, sponsored by partner companies that believed in our project.
