I am a freelance journalist, content writer, editor, and social media marketing consultant. I have worked on several film projects. I co-wrote and acted in the short film 'Writer Madness,' which won the ProjectTwenty1 award for Best Marketing in 2013. The short film 'Clean Break,' which I co-wrote, was nominated for ProjectTwenty1’s Best Writing award in 2014. My writing has also appeared in Centennial Media and Aeon magazine.I was a script reader for a Hollywood production company for over two years and a manuscript reader for various New York literary agencies for a year. I excel at editing all kinds of fiction, because I know what makes a story marketable and how to nurture a writer’s individual voice. I am especially skilled at developmental and line editing.I also have a strong track record of social media marketing consulting, particularly in the arenas of media, publishing, entertainment, and digital content. I have managed the social media presence for both individuals and companies, including Psychology Today, Scientific American magazine, OMNI magazine, Folio Literary Management, and Gotham Ghostwriters.I hold an M.F.A. in Screenwriting – Film & Television from Boston University, as well as a B.A. in English and music from Southern Methodist University.
