CurrentAs President & CEO of Temin and Company--a boutique consultancy that helps corporations & organizations create, enhance & save their reputations--I work with some of the most talented & impactful leaders in the world, helping them to refine & strengthen their vision, voice & market position in times of crisis & opportunity.We specialize in crisis & reputation management for global companies, professional services firms, foundations, colleges & universities, & governments. I also serve as a spokesman during crises, strategist, & leadership & communications coach at the board, CEO & executive committee levels.Before founding my firm 24 years ago, I headed Marketing for GE Capital, several other financial services firms & Columbia B School. I served as First Vice Chair of the Board of Girl Scouts of the USA & Chair of their National Fund Dev't Com. An Honors grad of Swarthmore, I served on their Board for 12 years. I Chair the Board of Video Volunteers, a media org based in India, and sit on the Boards/ Advisory Boards of The Knight-Bagehot Fellowship, Girl Scouts of NYC, ProPublica, the Committee for Economic Dvt & The Harvard Women's Leadership Board.Profiled in many business/leadership books, awarded a 2018 Enterprising Woman of the Year Award & Lifetime Achievement Award for Trust & named a "Top 100 Thought Leader in Trustworthy Business Behavior," I was honored as 2017 "Woman of Power and Influence" by NOW; one of the "30 Outstanding Women" in the world by the National Council for Research on Women; named by Girl Scouts as a Woman of Distinction; & awarded The Pinnacle Award for Leadership in 2015--their highest award.
