Responsible for technical leadership and architecture for the Wireless Connectivity team. I lead the team to deliver the connectivity features for Hero4 Session and Hero+LCD, and before that, the Hero3+ and Hero4 cameras and updated remote control. This involved product feature investigation, firmware architecture, task scheduling, cross-functional collaboration, and coding. I worked with the UX, product definition, and Android/iOS teams to define the connectivity aspects of our products. I helped write the process for board level manufacturing tests at our ODMs. I have written specifications for contract development. I've worked with vendors to define custom firmware requirements. I've driven hardware and firmware architecture changes that resulted in significant cost savings, performance improvements, and power savings. Implemented the Hero 5 GPS driver and middleware. Contributed to the wireless link to the Karma drone.
