Collect sound and comprehensive data on security and safety incidences to assist in identifying issues and to monitor and evaluate program performance. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the Police Force to assist in the development and implementation of safety and security programs and plans across State Transit and at all depot sites, and monitor, measure and evaluate planning and program performance, in order to prevent crimes against staff, passengers and members of the community. Conduct hazard identification, incident investigations, risk assessment and analysis, make recommendations and present reports based on the findings to assist in the prevention of operational accidents / incidents. Manage safety and security information systems and data input, data analysis and program performance reporting.I am an Authorised Officer to be a Test Supervisor to test drivers by virtue of the (Passenger and Transport Drug and Alcohol Testing) Regulations 2010. I am also an Authorised Enforcement Officer, Class 3, by virtue of the Passenger Transport Act and Regulations to undertake investigations and enforcement actions with the Act and Regulation.

Coordination of dispatching of buses throughout the day in order to meet bus serviceability contractual requirements especially during the morning and afternoon peak. Duties included; manouvre of buses in high active movement areas, maintaining high bus safety and presentation standards, organising repairs and warranty work with mechanics, sub contractors and routine inspections with external regulators such as RMS inspectors. Other duties were bus on road passenger transfers and changeovers, coordination of fuel drops by tankers, activation of the emergency spill plan and containment of the spillage, refuelling and parking buses at the end of the day.
