Mr. Evans has 35 years of experience with role accountabilities that include client facing technical interface across multiple market sectors in western and southern US, assessment and remediation of various contaminants, conceptual site model development, remedial system conceptual design, remedial system performance evaluation, oversight and analysis of subsurface characterization and remediation activities, preparation of technical reports and presentations, mentoring and coaching staff all in phases of work to cultivate growing technical project teams. Mr. Evans provides technical support and oversight on environmental projects involving a variety of contaminants (PFAS, VOCs, CVOCs, hydrocarbons, pesticides, inorganics) that include the federal, commercial, and industrial arenas. Mr. Evans' regional project background experience includes much of the U.S., though has historically been focused in California, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and the New England states. He is a licensed professional geologist in AZ, CA, ID, WA, OR, WY, and TX. Mr. Evans’ experience with environmental investigations includes various drilling methods: hollow-stem auger, direct-push, rotary sonic, air rotary, and expedited assessment techniques that include HPT (hydraulic profiling tool) and MIP (membrane interface profile), CPT (cone penetrometer testing). He is knowledgeable with various subsurface sampling and testing protocols, mobile laboratories, and analytical methods. Mr. Evans has managed and implemented many remedial alternatives including multi-phase extraction, air sparging, pump & treat, in-situ high temperature thermal, in-situ chemical reduction/oxidation, permeable reactive barriers, injection of carbon-based (electron donor) chemicals, and source removal via excavation.
