David served as Executive Vice President and then as Chief Corporate Officer of Mercury Air Group, Inc., an aviation services company with over 60 locations worldwide, where he was responsible for Mercury’s corporate departments. He also served as Secretary on Mercury’s Board of Directors.

As Senior Vice President and General Manager of MWW Group, then part of the Interpublic Group of Companies (NYSE: IPG), David led the Los Angeles region and was a senior executive in the firm’s national public affairs practice group. Among the many high profile accomplishments while at MWW Group, David led the public education campaign that saved the $60 billion Los Angeles Air Force Base from the last round of base closures. He was also the lead lobbyist for the historic settlement agreement between the City of El Segundo and the City of Los Angeles on the future of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

David is well respected for his work at Playa Vista, one of the largest urban infill real estate developments in the United States, where he was a consultant during the Phase One approval process (1991 to 1996) and then the Vice President of Corporate Affairs (1998-2000), with oversight of all public relations and governmental affairs activities, during the critical start of construction.
