With over 15 years of experience in higher education, property management, and student housing, I’ve had the privilege of overseeing everything from daily operations to large-scale capital projects. My focus? Building supportive, inclusive communities that not only feel like home but also set students up for success.At Ball State University, I’ve taken on roles that blend operational management with academic instruction, ensuring that what I teach in the classroom aligns with real-world industry standards. Whether I’m teaching courses on property management or mentoring students on their career paths, I’m always thinking about how to make learning more hands-on and impactful. I’m proud to have developed immersive learning courses that give students the chance to solve real-world problems, preparing them for the challenges they’ll face after graduation.Beyond the classroom, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with amazing teams to secure funding for capital projects at Maplewood Guest House—projects that have improved the student experience by renovating facilities and adding new amenities.
