For almost 30 years of practicing intellectual property law I have had the opportunity to counsel clients in a variety of legal and technical matters. I have represented clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for hundreds of utility patents, design patents and trademark registration, as well as administrative proceedings. I have supported clients in IP-related licensing and contractual agreements. I have also litigated numerous patent, trademark, and copyright cases in federal courts to successful conclusions. The clients I have worked with come from a wide range of industries including: aeronautical/aerospace, archery products, automotive technology (e.g., body structures, powertrain, system components, and vehicle controls), building products, compressors and pumps, door hardware & accessories, fire protection equipment, filtration media and processes, food processing/packaging equipment, furniture products, hydrogen fuel cell systems, hydrogen reforming systems, industrial material handling and logistics, item processing software, metal forming machinery and processes, music-related arts, oil and petroleum, personal care products, plumbing faucets and fixtures, point of purchase displays, specialty and industrial chemicals, tools and accessories and traffic control products. While much of my work has been in the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts, my experience extends to other fields including material science and computer software.
