Used various Tidyverse libraries to clean property characteristic and fire incident data for Syracuse's 40,000+ properties.Built SVM and Random Forest models to determine the likelihood of city properties experiencing a fire incident based on property characteristic information.Wrote and presented a report on the predictive models to department leadership while also providing recommendations on data governance and policy uses for the models' output.

Served on the development team during the design and build-out of a blockchain platform for insurance applications. Aided in the design of the platform's architecture and integration of the platform's components.Acted as on-site Scrum Master, leading 46 ceremonies, removing dependencies/blockers, & managing the Product Backlog in Agile Manager.

Researcher for the student-run New Explorations in Information Science lab. Students conduct independent research projects with the funding and support of the team, the lab, and Syracuse University's School of Information Studies. Most recently completed a Python project using the OpenCV library along with a Je Vois camera to build a working knowledge of computer vision fundamentals.

Aided Kroll forensic experts in timelining a high profile breach by analyzing log data for anomalies and producing insights from that data to profile the attack.Spearheaded the initial establishment of Kroll’s insurance partnerships in the APAC region. Collaborated globally with Kroll's insurance experts to develop content, strategy, and proposals for potential partnerships and presented this content to these insurance firms. Rebranded and marketed Kroll's newly acquired Dark Web monitoring tool for the APAC region and helped introduce the product to clients. Attended several conferences for Kroll including the APAC chapter of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association's training conference.

Spearheaded the development of a document that outlines the required technological capabilities for the next generation Presidential Motorcade. This effort required gaining an intimate knowledge of various communications technologies (E.g. radio waves, satcom, etc.) and involved consistently interfacing with Directors of the White House Communications Agency. Collaborated with various members of the White House Information Assurance department to design and implement a new process flow for securely introducing new iOS applications onto the White House network.Developed a symmetric encryption program in HTML, JavaScript, and Python utilizing the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and various crypto suites.Engaged with the White House Executive Support Team (EST) to provide technical support to the First Family, Second Family, Cabinet Members, and their top Advisors, resolving various technical problems for them. Partnered with EST and other members of White House Information Technology to systematically implement the IT changes created by the West Wing renovations and troubleshoot any problems caused during the move.

Primarily responsible for the maintenance and updating of department websites, this includes developing new sites for the department as needed. Additionally, acts as the primary resource for any IT related needs by anyone in the department, the primary bridge between the department and the University's larger IT department, facilitates the interviewing and training of new IT-related workers, and occasionally edits the department's Access database.

Oversaw a smaller group of students in the larger lecture-style class, answering course-related questions and managing these students' grades. Graded papers for the larger lecture and held weekly office hours. Additionally, handled all IT related matters for the class and worked with Professor Bill Coplin to update the data used in lectures.

Worked with the Syracuse Bloomberg Philanthropies' I-team to help them improve major city problems like infrastructure and economic development. Primarily worked with the Syracuse Water Department and the Data Science for Social Good fellows to help develop an algorithm used for predicting when maintenance would be needed on water mains. Additionally facilitated meetings with the Water Department and conducted best practices research for the I-team.
