Fellowship Advisor, Teacher, Writer, Educator I have been advising and teaching in the university in some capacity since 2012. Helping students is my no. 1 passion, particularly first generation, non-traditional, and BIPOC who do not always receive the academic guidance afforded to their peers. As a Fulbright and DAAD recipient, fellowships and grants changed my life and I want to give back by helping students connect with organizations who can help them as well. My academic expertise is in Religious Studies and Second Temple Judaism. I still have articles and books coming out in those areas and teach classes in Judaism, Western Religions, and the Hebrew Bible. While teaching my subject area is exciting, I am thrilled to have deep conversation with students in any capacity. They have voices, and my job is hear them and help them articulate more clearly their own passions
