With 35 years of independent school experience, I am passionate about developing curious, creative, and confident learners and leaders. As Dean of Faculty at Cushing Academy, a forward-thinking New England boarding school, I help to oversee academic programs, faculty development, and curriculum innovation. I am committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and diversity among our faculty and students, and to aligning our educational vision with the school's mission and values.In my current role, I have been a part of several initiatives to enhance the quality and relevance of our academic offerings, such as integrating online and hybrid learning models, designing interdisciplinary and project-based courses, and promoting individual academic and personal growth among our students. I have also supported our faculty members in their professional growth and development by providing them with training, coaching, and mentoring opportunities. I hold an Online Teaching Certificate from Duke University, and I am certified in Mental Health First Aid by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
