Ensure employees are current and adhere to training on SOP’s PPE Assessments, Job Hazard Analysis, as well as OSHA, RCRA, TSCA and DOT. Conduct training when needed. Assisted in setting goals and documenting output for production areas, addressing concerns or administering disciplinary actions when needed. Coordinate with transportation and field operation managers to schedule receiving of incoming material and availability of equipment. Conduct monthly bids with vendors for sale of product and schedule all product loads for pickup. Interviewed potential employees and worked with GM during hiring process and also when employees were terminated. Involved in Management Team Investigations helping to identify cause of incidents and provide feedback regarding prevention of future occurrences. Accumulate, break down and present data to upper management regarding productivity of the plant. Responsible for ordering and maintaining supply inventory. Conducted End of Month inventory for the warehouse. Completed daily RCRA and Tank Farm inspections as needed as well as weekly GM inspections and monthly Critical Systems Inspections. Reviewed and authorized payroll as well as Purchase Orders for processing. Member of Plant Safety Committee.

Responsibilities include: Managing the Pharmaceutical and Hazardous Waste Program implemented at 11 of 13 Novant Health hospitals, ensuring all wastes are dealt with in conjunction with Federal and State regulations. Maintain employee time and training records and train employees where and when needed. Constructed Site Specific Health & Safety Plan, SOP’s, Job Hazard Analysis’ and PPE Hazard Assessments. Contributed to the Hazardous Materials Waste Contingency Plan. Responsible for ensuring all Main and Satellite Accumulation Areas are in compliance. Member of Forsyth Medical Center’s Hazardous Materials Committee. Assist in continually educating the hospital staff and contractors in the proper ways to handle and collect wastes. Regulatory interface with State and Federal Inspectors for maintaining compliance in respected areas. Responsible for all tracking and record-keeping in regards to hazardous waste. Responsible for completing Biennial Reports for all customer sites registered as LQG’s.

Responsible for the daily execution of Clean Pack jobs in the respective region, ensuring that the customer needs are met by managing all available resources, and responsible for compliance and efficiency on the job site. Responsibilities include: proper identification, segregation and packaging of materials per DOT and EPA guidelines, generating all necessary shipping papers and labels. Ensured that all containers are correctly labeled, loaded and segregated for transportation purposes. Responsible for supervising and training of field chemists, organizing personnel and equipment, supervising projects and ensuring the health and safety of fellow employees.

Provide Teris representation while scheduling projects, shipments of waste for disposal and continually developing the business relationship. Responsible for the proper identification, segregation and packaging of all waste materials for storage and shipment in accordance with all applicable regulations (DOT, EPA, RCRA). Responsible for completing and implementing the Health & Safety plan while personnel are present on-site and ensuring all safety, housekeeping, environmental and operational standards are met in the work area. Maintained time records and safety observations of contracted personnel. Ensured proper communication and coordination of projects and related information with the sales staff as well as the disposal facility.
