Reporting to Chief Purchasing Officer, responsible for managing a portfolio of diverse spend, overseeing the procurement of professional services and commercial operators on behalf of Business Units across the City of Vancouver while ensuring compliance to City of Vancouver policies and procedures. Responsible for creating, maintaining and executing a multi-year Category Plan, setting out high level strategies and priorities aligned to City and Department goals and objectives. In collaboration with clients, draft and execute sourcing plans for planned procurement initiatives designed to assure supply, maximize value and mitigate risk, that also contemplate contract management and vendor performance implications for the City.Currently lead a team of contracting specialists and buyers, while also assuming the role of a mentor to other staff members within the Supply Chain Management team.
