Although he had initially strenuously denied any wrongdoing, his response to our draft report was to accept that he had failed to comply with the Code of Conduct and to resign his leadership of the authority.• Main contributor to the Standards Board’s first Case Review publication, providing detailed advice and guidance on the interpretation of the new Code of Conduct.
