Operate and Maintain a TBS COS machine with autoloader. Work in tandem with a take-off inspector and two envelopers to manufacture quality automotive batteries. Duties include mold installation, preparation, and cleaning, first-piece inspection of all battery components produced at beginning of shift and/or after changeovers; operation of cast-on-strap machine, autoloader, and unloader; monitoring temperatures of mold, pump, and pot of molten lead; monitoring quality of batteries produced and making computerized setting or manual adjustments to machine as necessary; perform or assist with mechanical repairs to machinery; perform take-off or enveloper duties when they are on breaks; document all issues or repairs in HMI system; and regularly communicate issues or delays to supervisor and team.

Apartment renovations and maintenance including electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, and minor appliance repairs. Appliance installations. Move-Out inspections. Restore vacated apartments to Move-In Ready condition. Responsible for one complex including 340 apartments and to assist in the coverage of 2 separate complexes and a strip mall providing an additional 348 apartments and 12 commercial spaces during after-hours/weekend on-call.

Apartment renovations and maintenance including electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, and minor appliance repairs. Appliance installations. Cabinet installations. Sub-floor repair and flooring installation. Minor concrete and pavement repair. Deck repair and outdoor carpeting installation. Snow and ice removal. Completion of daily time-sheet and log of all duties performed during working hours. Responsible for one complex providing 152 apartments and to assist in the coverage of a second complex providing 78 apartments during after-hours/weekend on-call.

Develop existing training program to meet current needs. Continuously review and improve SOPs for efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Design and create training aides and materials. Provide an encouraging and positive learning atmosphere for prospective employees. Keep all trainee files organized, accurate, and up-to-date. Provide orientation tours of facility and develop a rapport with trainees. Introduce trainees to management, supervisors, and key employees. Provide classroom training using safety and instructional videos, testing, and visual examples. Equip trainees with company issue safety harness, box-knife, and visual reference booklet. Assign each trainee a personal locker. Provide hands-on instruction in the proper use of safety-harness. Demonstrate, instruct, and evaluate trainees in the operation of walkie-jacks, ride-on pallet jacks, forklift, high-reach lift, and man-up stockpicker machines. Demonstrate and instruct trainees on proper order-picking procedures, use of the "Jennifer" voice-recognition system, palletizing, and staging. Perform 30/60/90 day evaluations on trainees performance, accuracy, and ability. Adjust instruction and training to the individual trainee's needs. Make recommendations to Operations Manager on the permanent hiring, further development, or termination of trainee. Provide advanced training (Quality Control Checkers, Truck Loaders, Repack Pickers and Stagers). Provide guidance and tips to veteran employees. Create and analyze weekly reports on trainees' and veteran employees' productivity and accuracy data. Address performance issues with individuals in a timely and professional manner. Assist in the supervision of all warehouse associates. Assist in the picking/checking/loading operation when not training or needed in a supervisory capacity. Occasionally perform yard-jockey duties when needed.
