I am the current manager of a paramedic ambulance branch located in the northwest of Ambulance Victoria’s metropolitan region. Here I assumes responsibility for all paramedic welfare and performance related activities including financial oversight, staff supervision, and patient management excellence. This includes budget oversight and compliance, and promoting clinical initiatives as well as the development of paramedics, local strategic planning and the delivery of organisational strategic items that align within those decreed by the Department of Health.Alongside this management role, I concurrently hold a volunteer position on the Victorian Ambulance Union (VAU) board. The VAU represents 6,000+ members in the emergency and non-emergency sectors. Prior to completing my MBA (majoring in Finance) I was a member of the Finance and Governance Committee. With extensive experience achieving time critical projects and tasks within, successful unification of varied stakeholders to realise project goals and an ability to provide timely logistical solutions, I am passionate about optimising customer and employee experience, developing and delivering local and organisational strategic goals, human resources and industrial relations.Risk and governance are continually addressed by myself within my VAU board and committee positions, while I am operating in a Health Commander capacity at complex and multi-agency scenes and during my time as a paramedic making timely, complex medicinal, logistic and holistic decisions. I am dedicated to driving a positive culture within any team I am a part of. A culture of continually learning, striving for a greater patient experience, while maintaining compliance of organisational social and corporate governance.I remain extremely ambitious personally and professionally and I am driven by the power of uniting teams and achieving project goals. My attention to detail and ability to work under pressure has allowed me to manage the balancing of financial matters, liaise with external stakeholders, engage and develop staff. In my spare time I am committed to my own health and well-being goals, with ambitions to complete my first ironman later this year. Personal health and wellness goals and experience provides me with an additional knowledge layer with which to share to my patients and staff alike.
