David is an energetic, dedicated and skilled pharmacist with a strong background in the pharmaceutical sciences and an avid interest in infectious disease pharmacy with a focus on HIV/AIDS, i am passionate about advancing global health through clinical practice, academic research, and innovative pharmaceutical solutions.With several years of experience as a clinical pharmacist in both hospital and community settings, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that bridges clinical practice and research, positioning myself as a vanguard in the field of global health. I have worked with diverse patient populations, focusing on those affected by infectious diseases, particularly HIV/AIDS enabling me advocate for improved access to care, comprehensive treatment options, health education and the importance of medication adherence among vulnerable populations.Additionally, i am actively involved in efforts to enhance Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within academic and professional settings. My work in this area includes conducting research to identify challenges and opportunities for improving EDI at Kaduna State University and engaging stakeholders in Kaduna State in promoting an inclusive educational system. As a committed member of Pharmafluence Education Advancement Network (PEAN), I play significant roles as a research volunteer and team lead to advocate for equitable access to quality education in Nigeria, with a particular focus on supporting students from low socio-economic backgrounds and underrepresented communities. PEAN's work includes improving STEM education through better laboratory facilities, teacher training, and mentorship programs. We also address healthcare challenges that affect learning, such as HIV/AIDS, by conducting awareness campaigns and providing support in high-risk communities.I seek for new opportunities for collaboration and learning and I am eager to connect with like-minded professionals who share a commitment in these fields.
