As the president of NIMELSSA, LAUTECH chapter, I lead a team of passionate students who promote the interests and welfare of biomedical sciences students in the university and beyond. I also serve as the financial secretary of the National Association of Nigerian Students, where I manage the budget and accounts of the 2nd largest student body in the Oyo State. Additionally, I am the team lead of the Heralds Fellowship at the Asido Foundation, a non-profit organization that envisions a Nigerian society in which all persons will enjoy optimal mental health regardless of age, gender, socio-economic status, religious creed, or ethnicity. In this role, I mentor and train other young leaders who are committed to raising awareness and reducing stigma around mental health issues in their communities. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, where I have acquired skills in laboratory techniques, research methods, and data analysis. My core competencies include mental health, mentoring, leadership development, and financial management. I am passionate about advancing the field of biomedical sciences and improving the mental health and well-being of Nigerians, especially the youth and the marginalized. My goal is to use my education, experience, and skills to contribute to the development and innovation of the health sector and the society at large.
