I worked on the AMCO project for UPM, funded by the European Union (EIT Row Materials). AMCO is an automatic mineral analysis system using multispectral images taken with an optical microscope. It was based on an old system already developed by UPM and AITEMIN, and the purpose of the new project was to achieve a system that is easy to use, reliable and that can be marketed. AMCO is an automatic mineral analysis system using multispectral images taken with an optical microscope. It was based on an old system already developed by UPM and AITEMIN, and the purpose of the new project was to achieve a system that is easy to use, reliable and that can be marketed.
