The team designs district heating, cooling and gas distribution networks in the Stockholm region.

Consultant working primarily with the design of district heating networks, but also to a lesser extent district cooling, gas and compressed air networks. Fully involved in the construction process from pre-study to as-built drawings. Work includes producing drawings/models with different AutoCAD software (including 3d-modelling), performing CAE pipe stress analysis (EN13941/EN13480), surveying, writing technical specifications for procurement and doing site visits. Certified to act as Construction Work Environment Coordinator, required for all construction projects in Sweden.

London, Storbritannien

Worked with optimising the operational performance of approximately 10 small district heating networks and production units in London. This was done by analysing the operation and energy efficiency and making improvements (SCADA control strategies, pump operation etc) in order to improve energy performance or reduce maintenance costs. The work was both office and site-based.

Worked as a technical advisor within the district heating department in one of the U.K:s major energy companies. Involved in all project phases: bids, construction, commissioning and operation. Exemples of responsibilites were technical modelling of planned and existing networks, design review of planned networks, overseeing construction/commissioning and improving operational performance. The work was both office and site-based.

Analyzing the effect of hydroelectric dam operation on flooding scenarios through GIS-based hydraulic modelling. The project ends in June.

Skärblacka

Worked two summers at the process laboratory at the paper mill in Skärblacka. Held two different positions within this unit and worked mainly with sampling, laboratory analysis and control, service and calibration of online-instruments.

Linköping, Sverige

Conducted educational laboratories during two semesters for engineering students in the areas of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer. In addition to the scheduling, preparation and execution of the laboratories, I was also responsible for marking lab reports.

Worked one summer as a Surface Mount Assembly (SMA) operator at Ericsson’s factory in Kumla. Was together with my team responsible for operating an automated assembly line manufacturing electronic circuit boards. Tasks primarily involved preventing and rectifying disruptions in the assembly line as well as inspection and approval of finished circuit boards.
