I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Northern Arizona University and two graduate level certificates in Nonprofit Management and Fund Development from University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Since June 2022, I have been the co-founder of Your Hearing Dog Inc (YHD), a Colorado nonprofit organization that supplies specially trained service dogs to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. My core competencies include fundraising, event planning, and nonprofit management.As a co-founder of YHD, I work with a dedicated team of volunteers, trainers, and donors to provide high-quality service dogs to our clients. I am responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, organizing and hosting events, and managing the daily operations and finances of the organization. I also collaborate with other nonprofit organizations, community groups, and media outlets to raise awareness and support for our cause. I am passionate about improving the lives and well-being of people with hearing loss and their families, and I believe that service dogs can make a positive difference in their social and emotional health. I value diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, and I strive to bring these principles to every aspect of my work. I am eager to learn from and contribute to the YHD team, and to share my skills and experiences with others.
