David Allison is part of the Arts & History team for the City and County of Broomfield. He began his museum career as a front-line interpreter at Conner Prairie in Indiana and, while there, continually worked to create memorable and unique experiences for museum guests. His projects included co-producing the award-winning Opening Doors to Great Guest Experiences DVD/CDROM training resource, developing a history-themed play and learning gallery for children and managing four experience areas. In 2008 he won the Indiana Governor’s Award for Tomorrow’s Leaders for his contributions to the museum field and the central Indiana community. He was Interpretation and Operations Coordinator at Golden History Museums for a year. He worked for eight years in a variety of managerial roles at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. He earned a masters degree in US History from Indiana University in 2010 and an MBA from Regis University in 2016 and was a Featured Columnist for Bleacher Report, the fourth-largest sports website on the net for nine months in 2011.
