Image Stream designs and builds software and hardware for video integration, image management, and video conferencing platforms dedicated solely to the medical space. We have 75 employees and have been growing our business for over 12 years.Video Integration: This is utilized in surgery, radiology and sometimes cardiology cath labs. One example of our unique approach to video integration is EasyPort. EasyPort is a video transport system in which all fixed and mobile devices are standardized to one type of cable and connector standard. Furthermore the system provides standardized video connection ports that can be placed anwhere in the room. The users can than connect any mobile or fixed imaging device to any port with a simple one handed twistlock connection. This eliminates the cable confusion that exists with traditional systems. Image Stream is the only company on the market providing this.Image Management: Over the past 6 years we have become the leading video integrator in the image management space. This system offers a system that functions much like PACS does for radiology--but this is for surgical images and video--which current PACS systems do not support storage of. This allows for retrieval of these images using a web browser search portal that is built into the software. HIPAA safeguards are built into the platform.EMR integration to Image Management: We have likely done more implementations of our image management system to EMR's (e.g.,Epic, cerner, McKesson) than all of our competitor's combined and have made this a product focus to allow hospitals to gain more efficiency and safety as compared to tradition video integration systems.
