Skyqraft is a Swedish startup that will change the way powerlines are inspected. By using several type of drones the cost of inspecting power lines will be much lower than traditional alternatives (Helicopters or walking).We fly with drone operations partners over powerline corridors and then Skyqraft provides a machine learning risk assessment system that can automatically detect issues like fallen trees, leaning poles, cracks on insulators or any other problem.We are rapidly improving object detection and issue detection software for powerline images from several countries.

I am pursuing my dreams by starting my own Startup via Antler’s Stockholm Cohort ‘2019’. Antler is a startup generator that turns talent into great founders of great companies supporting founders like me building fast-growing businesses.The startup will fly autonomous fixed wing drones to inspect powerlines. The airplane drone will fly autonomously and follow GPS coordinates to record HD video and take pictures. This will dramatically decrease the cost of doing inspections. Currently inspections are done with costly manned helicopters. On top of that we will use machine learning to build a risk assessment system.I am doing this startup together with my two co-founders Sakina Turabali and Umar Chughtai.
