In my present role, I have consistently focused on optimizing processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. A key part of my responsibilities has been the timely and accurate processing of digital timecards, including managing necessary edits to ensure crew members receive prompt payments. By analyzing daily call sheets and production reports, I gained a deeper understanding of how they influence payroll on set, which allowed me to improve payroll accuracy and overall workflow.Collaboration with the Key Production Accountant was crucial in ensuring proper fund allocation. I ensured timecards for sets and episodes were coded in line with the production budget, contributing to effective financial management.A significant part of my role also involved expediting the hiring process by promptly issuing start work notices upon receiving approved deal memos from the Unit Production Manager (UPM) and Line Producer. This effort streamlined crew onboarding and allowed production to proceed efficiently.Throughout my tenure, I worked closely with various production departments, regularly engaging with team members to meet deadlines and foster inter-departmental collaboration.Additionally, I assisted the Lead Payroll Accountant with contract compliance, ensuring accurate and thorough record-keeping, particularly with SAG contracts. My role also included verifying I-9 documentation to ensure legal compliance before crew members began work, mitigating potential risks for the production.I managed payroll for large-scale productions and coordinated payments for crew, working closely with department heads, including Directors of Photography (DPs) and Assistant Directors (ADs). This experience allowed me to support the successful execution of high-budget projects and contribute to their overall success.

One of the most rewarding projects I’ve worked on was optimizing an entrepreneurship workshop series for PhD students at University College London. Partnering with UCL’s Innovation & Enterprise team, my goal was to create a more effective learning environment. To do this, I engaged with past participants, analyzed survey data, and dug into historical feedback, allowing me to lead the implementation of data-driven improvements for the program.Beyond just tweaking content, I aimed to ensure the program’s continuous improvement. I conducted in-depth interviews and helped develop a comprehensive promotion plan that not only enhanced the workshops but also established a sustainable feedback loop. This feedback infrastructure made sure that the program would keep evolving long after my involvement.One of the most impactful outcomes of this project was being able to provide UCL with materials that showcased the program’s growth to potential investors. By compiling case studies, we were able to bolster the credibility of their entrepreneurship programs.Throughout this process, I was committed to keeping communication clear and consistent. I delivered weekly updates and presented final recommendations to the client, ensuring they had everything they needed to push the program forward.
