Floor engineer for generator rewinds. Generator crawl-through specialist. Performed Non-destructive electrical testing of generators, rotors, and exciters. Supervised and inspected various generator repairs performed by technicians including, but not limited to re-winds, re-wedges, parallel ring block replacements, insulation repairs, and core tightening. Quality assurance engineer on Siemens Westinghouse's first successful 20-day or less rewind. Maintained, repaired, inspected, and upgraded automatic voltage regulator control systems. Composed customer reports with test results, graphs, charts, and recommendations utilizing specialized software. Evaluated and documented technician performance during and after jobs. Reviewed and edited AVR engineer field reports prior to final submission to customer. Ensured procedures are current and properly used during field operations.

Traveled to customer sites in order to maintain, repair, install, inspect, and upgrade voltage regulator control systems. Conducted in-house troubleshooting, modification, and repair of voltage regulator circuit boards. Provided emergency customer telephone technical support to ensure continued power production. Maintained inventory control of electronic components for voltage regulator repair.
